Choose your Camp Session

We want everyone to be able to experience Summer Camp at Camp Manito-wish YMCA. So we offer several options designed to fit your camper’s age and your busy summer schedule. Activities are always appropriate to experience level. Consequently, campers aren’t overwhelmed or bored, and gain positive new character and leadership traits as they advance through the program. While camp dates, duration and experiences vary, they all have one thing in common: How much the campers enjoy it here.

Our 3-Week Session will provide time to take friendships to the next level. Initially, cabin groups will get to know each other while building their team, community, and support systems – in other words, their camp family.

They will learn how to work together with disparate styles and personalities, and they will become skilled at how to communicate when they are being challenged, empowered, and encouraged to grow, laugh, and learn together.

Campers will figure out how to support each other through challenges, celebrate the success of others and engage in conversations. So that when campers return home they’ll be better equipped with life-skills of making friends, being empathetic and showing compassion.

Additional Summer Camp Wilderness Trip Options

Backpacking and sea kayaking trip options are available as campers progress through the program. Because spaces are limited, these alternative trips are filled by lottery of those that are requesting enrollment.

*Fees

Fees include staff, all activities, instruction, equipment use, wilderness trip, meals, lodging, and facilities. We are happy to offer our families two fee options. You may choose the actual fee or the adjusted fee.

The actual fees reflect the true cost needed to deliver a Manito-wish experience. Because of generous contributions to our Annual Fund Drive and Endowment Funds, we are able to offer families an adjusted fee.

Please choose the fee which is most suitable for your family. The fee you choose in no way influences the experience your camper will receive. Payment plans and Camperships (financial aid) are available. Please contact us for more information. For information on payment options and financial aid, click here.
