Backpacking and sea kayaking trip options are available as campers progress through the Summer Camp program. Because spaces are limited, these alternative trips are filled by a lottery of those that are requesting enrollment. There is no additional fee. If your camper goes on a backpacking or sea kayaking trip, they will not go on the traditional canoe trip.

Please note: Cabin placements will determine the eligibility for backpacking and sea kayaking trips. This will also determine which backpacking trip they will go on, impacting location and length. Cabin placement is finalized shortly prior to the start of each camp session.
