WFA is the industry standard for individuals entering the outdoor profession. Many organizations require it as part of their job qualifications. Recommended for outdoor professionals and recreationalists who lead adventure trips, and those who are in the backcountry for days or weeks with the possibility of having to care for a patient over an extended time.
