What’s cookin’? A message from our Executive Chef

Snow is still falling and the cold will not leave; a sleeping giant is starting to stir with thoughts of sunshine, laughter, and the warmth from the stove, ovens, and the clanking of pots and pans.  The hibernation is almost over….

We are very fortunate to have the kitchen fully staffed this early in the year, along with our cooks.  It appears that all Boys’ and Girls’ sessions are nearly filled with camp staff participants who want to work in the kitchen for the summer. Without your generous help in the kitchen, we couldn’t pull off serving the crazy amount of food through our Nash dining hall.

The 100th anniversary celebration is looming on the horizon and we look forward to show-casing our new dinning room floor and what we consider to be our greatest gift to our staff and campers – food created from our hearts with love. Before long, it will be service as usual and we are looking forward to seeing you soon.
